Information We Collect

Daily Stillness may collect information that you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, location text, profile image, quote preferences, quote feedback, and feedback messages you send by email.

The app may also request permission to save quote images to your photo library. Daily Stillness only saves images when you choose the Save action.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and personalize the daily quote experience, save app preferences, respond to support and feedback requests, improve app quality, understand aggregate usage patterns, and manage unsubscribe or delete-account requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Local Storage

Some settings and profile information are stored on your device. Profile information is stored using iOS file protection where available. If you delete the app, locally stored app data may be removed from your device.

Server Storage

Future versions of Daily Stillness may sync optional profile information, preferences, feedback, analytics, purchase status, and account requests to secure servers.

Until production backend storage is enabled, optional profile fields remain local to the device unless you send them through another channel, such as email feedback.

Analytics

Daily Stillness may use analytics to understand app usage and improve the product. Analytics should be configured to avoid collecting sensitive personal information where possible. If third-party analytics tools are added, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures should be updated.

Email and Marketing

If you provide your email address, we may use it to respond to support requests and, where permitted, send updates about Daily Stillness. You can request to stop receiving marketing messages by contacting us.

Sharing

When you share a quote image, you choose the destination through the iOS share sheet. The privacy practices of the selected third-party app or service are governed by that service.

Subscriptions and Payments

Payments and subscriptions, if offered in a future version, are handled by Apple. Daily Stillness may receive information from Apple needed to determine whether premium features are active, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, tax, accounting, or operational reasons.

Your Choices

You may choose not to provide optional profile information. You may also request account deletion, unsubscribe from messages, or contact us about your data.

Children

Daily Stillness is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
